... and replaced it with a 2016 Tacoma Limited (Blazing Blue Pearl). I thought I would have the Sport for at least another 5 years but I hit 100,000 miles and figured it was time to pick up something new before any major maintenance came due.

Love the truck, hopefully it performs as well as my Sport did.

    Oh yeah, first post!

My wife calls it my mid-life-crisis-mobile. At least she does when she's speaking to me, which hasn't been much in the past 30 hours since I spent about $10,000 more on the truck than I said I would.

So I got a new truck AND 30 hours of peace and quiet!

Thank you! I may be new to the forum but I'm a Toyota whore through and through. My last six car purchases have been:

    '16 Tacoma
    '11 Sienna
    '10 Tacoma
    '08 FJ Cruiser
    '07 RAV4
    '04 RAV4

Loved every one of them with the exception of the FJ which I bought for the looks but wasn't very comfortable on my soft, squishy ass.

Like 100k miles is a lot

These trucks were built to last till 250k before any major maintaince items came along. Congrats on the new rig though!

Here are the pics as promised. If you notice the rear tire in the last one is not on the driveway. I didn't intend on taking it off-roading so soon but I couldn't help myself!

Unfortunately, shortly after 100,000 miles you run the risk of the tires exploding and gas mileage dropping to 3MPG. I'm so glad my wife understands more about cars than you people and realized I HAD to trade in that death trap before it was too late!

Fortunately she has no interest in diamonds. She has a rare blood condition that requires she have diamonds close to her skin at all times to counteract the effect. Unfortunately the effects don't last very long so we have to increase the "dosage" every few months. She always tells me how much she hates having to wear these diamonds all the time but has to for medical reasons.

I'm not familiar with the disease, but I overheard her telling her mom "
mi marido es estúpido" (I think that's the Latin name for it).
