    Training can overcome that obstacle.

I'll bet the cop has seen far more examples of injured crash victims than any physics expert.

Exactly, Darwin was on to something with natural selection.

The attitude that "nobody in my family wears one" is weak.
Sad for the families that loose people that refuse to wear helmets and seat belts.

Anyone in the Milwaukee area, I have Toyota diagnostic software on my laptop and can turn your seat belt beep off right in your own driveway. Feel free to message me about it.

Bunch of keyboard cops in here. If someone doesn't want to wear their seatbelt, that's their problem. They're adults and can make their own decisions. I wear mine but still turned my belt warning beeper off. The op was simply asking how to turn it off, not be given life lessons or advice.

    Yes,
Well that escalated quickly. I didn't realize 3rd Gens get butt hurt so easily. If you don't like comments on an open forum, you might need to grow a pair.

No butt hurt here. Just don't see why the guy needs your thoughts on life for asking how to turn a beeper off.

    Yes,
Ok, you are in Wisconsin and OP is in kentucky, so tell me how you having a program to turn off the chime "in his driveway" is going to help him. Just tell him how to turn the chime off and quit trying to advance your personal agenda......

Go fuck yourself. I have no personal agenda. I offered to help people in the Milwaukee area. It wasn't directed at him. It was a generality. To my knowledge, without getting a dummy buckle, there's no other way to turn off the beeper without a Toyota scan tool, which I have and offered to help others out for free. Meanwhile everyone else is telling him why he should wear his seat belt. Tell me again who had an agenda?

'Cuz you wanted to see the blood and gore from the trainwreck this thread has caused. Of course, if they wore their seatbelts... ;)

My belt was on today. Along with my seat belt beeper because I've been too lazy to turn it off. Luckily I own a third gen. The cab is so quiet, people near my truck won't hear my head splatter against the windshield should I happen to not be wearing a belt.
