I made a second half for my sleeper deck. Originally I only had one half of the bed (the side with the carpet) framed off so I could still fit a bike in there. Now I've got a second half that slides in and clips onto the original. So many options now. IMG_3370.jpg

Pretty nice work! I've been wanting to test out my prototype for this application but I don't have any need for the switches yet.

Almost ready to go on the truck! Finishing the mesh backing tomorrow and then mounting it. It's turning out pretty cool though! Better than expected.

Ironically I had this discussion with our Chevy dealer's sales manager today. The same dealer sells Toyotas well. I told him I disliked the new front end. He liked it.

We did agree on both disliking the Colorado though.

Thanks guys. I appreciate all the help. I've had the switches sitting in a box for a while and might get around to installing them there soon :)

I haven't decided how I will handle selling ones like this yet. They really need to be manufactured. I've got way too much time and resources into this one so far, so it will be a one-off and won't be sold until I have the replacement prototype built.

But if you want a 2012-2015 Satoshi with custom lettering / emblems, I have two (pre orders) up for grabs! -> https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...shi-grills-w-custom-lettering-emblems.399443/

What harness is that you have all the wires in? One you made yourself? That would clean up so much of my wiring...

Thanks! My suggestion is - just install it! That way when you have your accessories it is just plug and play.

Made it myself using mini molex connectors and some heat shrink. It's great because the entire setup is modular. If I ever need to fix switches, sell my truck, or remove anything, I can remove my switch assembly and leave the rest of the system intact. My Bussmann relay box, through-the-firewall harness, and switches are all modular components. Flexibility is what I wanted and this was the best way to do it!

    Everything TW members recommend
Lowered my 11 year old, never used spare, scraped and sanded off the rust. Spray painted it with primer, then gloss black. Added air and tucked it back into the spare wheel well and it's good for another 11 years... if it doesn't rot before then.
