That's because Crafton didn't have a shot at the championship.

 

Gibbs drivers are contracted through 2017 except Hamlin (2016), who is working on the details. Jones runs full time grand national next season. I'd hope he's serve two years in that series before moving up to Cup in '18, but they're putting younger guys in the cars and paying less salary these days for doing so. By '18, Hamlin and Busch will have statistically peaked (if they haven't already), and we've seen the best of Edwards. There are big changes ahead for Gibbs and the sport as a whole.

Kenseth will be gone in five years. So will Biffle. Jr gets to drive as long as he wants. He's the heir to be the new garage ambassador after Tony retires.

 

Toyota and TRD KNOW they have to "step-up" to keep the "pipeline" flowing.. Giving away trained talent must STOP

Adding FRR was a GREAT play and loosing MWR a ble$$ing..

Toyota has had more than a few stumbles BUT they have turned the corner...........

Now that Woods is BACK, maybe Ford and Roush will pull their heads out of their a$$

 

I feel bad for Michael Waltrip. He's a good guy, just didn't have good equipment at all.

I just tuned into the race and WOW! Kyle Larson is lading Busch by 7.5 seconds?! Only 4 cars on the lead lap & fourth place is about to be lapped?! What the heck is going on down there?

Homestead is the only track on the schedule that resembles old Atlanta. It sure looks that way today: Overcast skies, only a few cars on the lead lap, uneventful.
