What flaps did you go with? I want to replace the hard plastic flaps we get with a softer flexible version.

Gotta say, that top rack looks great with your wheel combo:) Btw, did you go with C or E rated on those KO2's? Wheels arriving this week and will be tire shopping. Again, nice job on your truck.

Ah ok, figured as much. I had that on my Audi. They looked good at the start but stained after time. I will just likely go with a bulb to start because yellow with snow is amazing to have. I am hoping to see a lens which would be even better.

I finally got my TRD OR, quite impressed with it, hope to slowly add some things. I am taking the step bars off, so if any one interested in them, I am in Indiana or in DFW, pm me. Photo Nov 22, 10 13 16 AM.jpg Photo Nov 22, 10 13 27 AM.jpg

I bought the grill and emblem separately and put it together. I like the SR grill and wish they came with the toyota lettering like the trd pro tundra's. Unfortunately I think we'll have to wait until the trd pro tacoma comes out so we can get it too.

Did you order it? If so, why didn't you just ask for it to not have the boards?

Actually the dealer found me the truck, it took them a week to find this color and OR, so the bars were included.

You're right on about the tires. No lift, that's stock. Added the clear bra, window tint, bed extender, N Fab nerf's, tires are KO2 - C. Lovin it!

Hey jrndfw, how do you like the Wrangler Adventures in the snow? I'd kinda like to get some KO2's cause I know how good they are overall, but alas, I am a tire assembler for Goodyear so I reckon I should probably stick with these OEM tires for a while. I like them so far but haven't had a chance to do any serious off-roading yet. I am impressed with them on dry pavement so far. Curious how they are in the snow?

Also, since we're in the Post your MGM Tacoma thread:

Just picked her up a few days ago. Couldn't be much more stoked. I love it.

Yeah they are real good pavement tires and very quiet. It really has not snowed much up here Indiana, so I have not really tested truck in the snow yet, but I did have KO2 on my last Tacoma and loved them, they had great grip in all weather conditions.

    My OR came with Canadians.
Do you have any idea why the Canadian tire is 7lbs lighter for the same spec tire?

Hmm. Not entirely sure. We don't even run that tire code at my plant (Lawton, OK). My tires came from Canada (Napanee, ON). It looks like for whatever reason they put a narrower and maybe different thickness of tread on the Canadian produced tires. Probably at least part of it. I bet the tread on these weighs 15 pounds by itself. The internal components on the Canadian spec may differ some too. Some engineer somewhere knows exactly why though. It's probably something they're doing just on these OEM Tacoma tires. Manufacturers all have special requirements they need met for every application. My friend has a set of these that came on his new F150 that have white walls on one side. Mine don't have any white walls at all. They make several variations of most tire models.
