Just finished upgrading my H11 headlights to LED's that I got from AliExpress. I did the fogs a couple weeks ago and the headlights just arrived yesterday. So far, I'm really impressed by both the outputs of the LED's. More impressed that it cost me less than $80 to do both the fogs and headlights. I've added links to the products I ordered below.

Possible to do a comparison of halogen vs LEDs, everyone says LED has the spread and brightness but doesn't have distance

I buy a lot of stuff I don't really need from AliExpress. Amazing prices.

Did they fit okay in the low beams? I did not see a lot of clearance on the right side.

No clearance issues at all during the install of the H11 headlight into the projector housing. Fan has lots of room to breath as well.

Dd you remove the light assy to install? You had to have put the LED w/fans in the Hi-Beam. There is no way for them to fit in the low beam unless you cut the engine bay wall!

Install was a simple as can be. No need remove housing. They are definitely in my low beams. I would need H9 for my highs, which I plan on doing soon after seeing the quality of the light. And definitely no engine bay wall was harmed in the install of the H11 LED w/fan. Here's a pic to show clearance behind the fan.

Spread is good and the color is right around 5K. Today I installed a 6k 55w HID kit ($38) from DDM in my brother's '15 Camry SE. Just for kicks, I installed the HID on one side and put my LED bulb on the other side for comparison. I was blown away by the brightness of the DDM kit. It went almost twice the distance of the LED bulb. I might be upgrading my headlight bulb again and relocate the ones currently in my headlight to my fogs. Seems I'm never satisfied with my headlights. But after seeing the ones I bought and installed in my bros car, I'm confident I'll be happy with the DDM kit in my tacoma. I'll post a comparison of halogen/led/hid soon.

    Norman,
That is the issue some of us have found with the projector housing and LED assy's on the market. The VLED LMZ is the best/brightest out there but will not fit in the space provided. That is why we went with Morimoto HID's for the projectors. I have the Morimoto HID's (55w) in the projectors, The VLED LMZ's in the high beam and the Xenon Depot LED's in the FOG's. Some have used the OPT7's in the FOG's.

Sam B, you have any problems with the HID's grommets movement that I read on the other thread with the TRS HID. Thanks

Manny, I went with the XD H11 LED Headlight kit. The high beams light up an enormous area but it is a spread and not a beam. I like it!

Thanks Sam. Since I have the same identical XD units left over from my low beam headlight LED upgrade attempt, I will slap these bulbs into the fogs and see if I get flashed much.
