Got back from wheeling anbout an hour ago had a great time. I will get some pics up in a little bit.

 

I'm pooped... spent the last 2 hours out in the yard and garden... Got a bunch of leaves raked too.

It's going good, haven't really done much all day.

 

Cool. Can't wait to see them. Saw the carnage on the wheel... ouch.

 

Me too... The leaves have covered the driveway and all over the yard...

Other than that, I went for my flying lesson today...

 

Everybody needs to be a bumb on occasion

 

Only a portion of my leaves have fallen. The maples (which are still fairly young) have dropped 90% of their leaves and the oaks which are alot older still have over 70% left to drop. I've been raking what has fallen next to the trees and making "beds" around the trees. I've been wanting to do it for awhile and that makes it easy for leaf clean up - just rake next to the trees

You see, that's the problem. Enough leaves around here fall to cover the yard, to the point where you can't see a blade of grass. I'll go out there on a weekend and spend a couple hours raking all of it up (around the trees like you do ) but by the middle of the week, the whole yard is covered again. It's like a never ending cycle around here...

Yeah, had a lot of fun flying! I'm working on my gliders license (no engine) then I'm gonna go for my private license... Thanks for asking!

 

Yeah, Ben's chrome wheel cover took a shot. There was worse. Rich bent his sliders and Joe blew a tire and bent a wheel.

 

Damn... Where did yall go wheeling?

 

That happens here as well... I just haven't had that many leaves fall yet. When you put them near the trees, run them over with your lawn mower cuts the bulk WAY down and makes them less likely to blow around. The worst thing about raking my oak leaves is the BAZILLION acorns that have fallen this year. Seems way worse than years past.
