I woke up from a nap and got motivated. I used a few ratchet straps and a floor jack to get the transmission in.

Oh really. Well my plans are to bring the tranny a little closer into the engine compartment and cherry pick the motor to the tranny and bolt them together. Then bolt it to the frame. Hoping it falls in good. Looks like it's going to be tight.

Exhaust is fine so far no complaints. I love that I can be at 1.25k revs in any gear and still avoid bogging, that torque peak drop is gold! Haven't welded on the rear O2 flange yet, waiting until i replace my suspension (doing this as we speak in the garage) because I need to put a longer hanger on the muffler to clear dakars, figure I'll get 2 birds stoned at once and have the flange welded on when I get the hanger replaced. BTW, really happy I went down to 2" mandrel.

So this happened today. Thoughts? Relocate the motor mounts or find a different oil pan... I'm still unsure what to do because of drive shaft length.

Enough to make it a lot of fun!
Is the motor sitting too fa forward? If so I would think the best bet is to move the motor mounts.

sorry i was only seeing one pic.

Like swap the mounts to the other side....I'm just throwing things out there that I've seen people do on motor swaps.

Yeah well shit happens now to move foreword. I guess it's time to fab up some beefy motor mounts to take the pounding of LT.

On a 240sx one mount set the engine correct for one motor but needs to be flipped around to accommodate another motor
