Yea? Well you often hear women say they want to have another baby but I have never heard a man say he wants to have another kidney stone - now what does that say about pain levels, hmm? Or maybe you all are serious deranged masochists???

I've always had good luck with them catching brookies. Back then I used a #3 Mepps split tail floater for bass and had great results.

Going through labor is a draw back to pregnancy. Want a baby, gotta go through labor. Pain memory lessens as time passes. Did I LIKE my labors, definitely NOT!!!! But I LOVE my boys, so painful or not, it was worth it. If there was a way to avoid labor, I'd be all for it. But then again :notsure: o_O

What are we watching? hmmm o_O

Never seen one made from a bottle cap. Used to fish with colored yarn - worked for some folks :angrygirl:

Nice Marty! I remember rooster tails in the 70's too. Have had my best luck for trout on a Mepps minnow in size 0 or 1, caught a lot of trout with those. Picked up my first fly rod in the 70's traded a big boar coon hide and couple of muskrats for it. Think it still had catgut leader LOL. First few years caught a lot of "tree trout" but now fly rod is pretty much all I use.

Pretty much packed for heading up North in the morning to spend the week with the dog in a cabin on the edge of the BWCA Wilderness grouse hunting. Well below freezing though so can't pack the truck until the morning :( Got some heat packs today to keep the water bottles from freezing solid while we are in the woods.

 Silk and wool long johns already packed. If it wasn't for the pup I wouldn't even go. Love watching him run and hunt but also I get a kick out of watching him sleep when the day is over. And his legs twitch in his dreams like he is still running after birds.

Thanks Marty and me too! My thanksgiving dinner plans are based around grouse as the bird instead of turkey. Which is the other original American bird. Would hate to resort to eating something out of a can instead

I had to lock all my toolboxes when our boys were early to mid teens. Started the first time I found tools in the backyard, luckily before I cut the grass.o_O They had to come to me to be issued tools, and I did an inventory when they were done.

You haz toolbox now? When are getting your workbench?
