Yeah it sucks but you guys were talking about late august/early september and I am going to be in my last semester then. If anything I could spare a weeekend and that's not enough time for the distance you guys are traveling.

Unsure, I am keeping an open mind about things. Mountain trails are pretty much a no go since they will be closed still and/or covered in snow. Rock therapy is still an option but I think if I went that route I would set up a trip to a different area of Utah and stop by RT at the end to meet people/run a trail. Come January I will go talk to my boss and get dates set up and decide from there.

Yeah, I am looking at AZ, UT, and NV currently. I would imagine I will have around 5 days so I don't want to go to far and have most of my trip just driving there.

Well, I could probably do more but I am unsure about Lizzy being able to take the days off. She has a slightly more involved job than me with the toads. If she decides to not go I could probably go for a 7 or 8 day trip. I also may be trying to do something for spring break. It always seems that my spring break is never conveniently timed to aligned with anyone else though. I graduate next fall so hopefully I will be able to go on some longer, better trips in 2017.

2017. Very unsure about that. I don't even know if I'll be employed yet haha

My spring break is from March 12th -
I am assuming I will be unemployed until the game warden exams. Unless I get lucky and some hatchery job magically appears at just the right time.

So if I get lucky enough next week, I'llbe ordering sliders from jlee, then I'm going to jump on the icon deals, and get a stage 3 kit ordered to. Merry Christmas to me!

Nice, sliders are one of my favorite things on the truck. Super useful! But suspension is my fav, always puts a smile on my face when i put it to use. South Dakota winters can be pretty harsh no? I have seen quite a few rough looking icons after rough winters/salt belt. Just keep it in mind if you go icon. My kings are a few years old now and have seen 3 winters with only minor degradation. A good deal is a good deal though!

Last few years haven't been to rough really, and my trucks usually get washed after major snow storms, so getting all that off of them helps a bunch, and if nothing else, I'll find some shock covers to install over the winter to get the road grime and junk off them.

Right on, yea if you can keep em clean then you shouldnt have much to worry about. Those coilover covers can hold moisture in though, i'd be careful about using them.

I'll figure it out one way or another. Guess I never thought about it holding in moisture. I've ran the shock covers on my 4 wheelers for years to keep the shafts nice and pretty, but I've never taken them off to see if they are starting to rust. Might need to do that.

Much better, I also only put about 42-43lbs back in the tires so I think that helped also. Might have to get a different leaf setup figured out for next summer, its going to sag a bit with the tent an a bed full of supplies.

It would be great to go down there with this group! It would would fun to take the pickup down there, would be a whole new set of challenges and trails than we're used to.
