Custom bolt on sliders. Might ask to tack on the brackets in a few spots instead of drilling extra holes in frame.

 

I bought the bolt on sliders and after I drilled three holes I said f it and decided to weld them suckers on just to make it easier on me.

I was double checking that my dad's 30.06 was sighted in for rifle season today and I had a misfire. Round 10 apparently had a weak casing and blew 3 holes in the casing when I fired. I don't know if it spit fire at me or just hot smoke or what, but it burned a little bit of my face and right under my eye. There was smoking pouring out of the bolt action when I looked at it after I felt something hit my face and it started burning. So that's how things are going with me...it still burns like hell.

It helps haha, and I did take most all that into consideration, believe it or not lol. So the big thing i dont completely understand yet, is length. On DSM, you can get the 2.0 IFPs in 8, 10, 12 inch travel. I personally want the most travel ( 12") but is that too much/not enough for the allpro standard leaf's? is it ever possible to have too much travel in a shock with a leaf pack as stout as the all pro standards? I know a shock can be too small (which means the shock itself now becomes the "limit strap" which is bad news). Are there any effects of having a longer shock (too long??) Is it even possible.

Also saw this video West got from this weekend. This is the same puddle that the other video was, but I had to come back through it once the truck behind me got stuck. This time, my trac ctrl actually turned off (unlike the first time which is why it was very slow, making it more difficult).

If you get a longer length shock than what is needed then your shock will bottom out before you hit your bump stops. Your best bet is to call dsm and tell them what rear setup up you have and they will tell you what length shock you need.

I wouldn't want to put up with a court anyways. But damn it burns. I wonder if I fired the other rounds in the same box, if it would do the same thing? If it does, Springfield will be getting an ear full.

Haha you can't hardly tell where my face is burned. And the casing has 3 holes, not dents haha.
