2016 Tacoma Upgrades!

That is my tire size. I'm on a second gen, but with 2.5" of lift I have quite a bit of cutting to do

 

Rides terrific. Surprisingly smooth and refined with suspension upgrade. Thx

 

They had a third party guy do it for me. I'll get pictures when I get back to my truck later. I did ask though and he said he brought the original bolts into Ace Hardware and that's where he got the longer bolts.

 

I kind of figured something like that. It will be interesting to see, but I worked as a manager for Toyota for quite a few years, and my best friend whom manages the dealership said the Toyota rep has been getting complaints about this. Either way, doesn't matter to me, as I was able to fix mine to fit me more appropriately.

 

Upper control arm, lower control arm. Rubbing/issues bad angles?

 

Zero issues with my set-up. But I didn't go to extreme. Probably already said it, but VERY pleased with the TOYTEC system ..

 

Hot Dang, that looks SWEET! Any feedback on the new suspension and compare to stock driving? I am itching for a lift on my 2016 Taco

BTW- is that Toytec Trail Boss suspension?

 

Suspension is 2" TOYTEC. It was about $2k for the whole thing. Ride quality is better then I expected. Very good!

 

Plus, if you have big legs like me, they just barely squeeze under steering wheel while getting in and the steering wheel is tilted all the way up. Couldn't imagine losing another inch, I wouldn't be able to get in.

 

Seats look amazing! Same treatment on the back or the 2K was just for the fronts?
