That just a whole new element to wheeling and it sounds awesome.

Too college town. Go Prescott or Show Low.

Both aren't far from Flag and no vagrants and overly inebriated Natives there. Flag has some major railways going through it. Gets super annoying

Prescott is still that small town feel. The community is great especially around this time of year. They still light the town hall every year and sing Xmas carols.
It's so different over PHX. So many entitled assholes that rule Phoenix. I hate this town sometimes and its great to get up into these small towns.

yea biggest issue we had with the denver area was the amount of people...we needed to downsize in population...need to have as many of the big city amenities that we can get without the crowds and traffic...burlington city and metro are very similar to prescott, so that's not a bad option if it has similar amenities...

we're thinking about making a trip down that way before rock therapy to take a look at the area and see if it sparks an interest...we're going to try and make this area work, but we have to keep our options open...no sense in staying someplace you're not happy right?

Last time visiting(almost 2 years ago) my brother in Boulder, CO, I couldn't stand how many people live there now compared to when I lived out there. Moved back to home in 2004.. Population almost double(Boulder) and seemed like Denver's population tripled.

From Prescott you are 1 hour from Jerome and another 30 min from Sedona. A few miles of switchbacks between you and Flag from there.

From Prescott you have the old Senator Highway (all dirt) to take you up to Crown King and down the back way to Lake Pleasant on the north end of Phoenix. It really is a great area and Prescott gets cold and sometimes snow but not a lot.
