Fallout 4

Idk... I haven't had any problems running Fallout 4 on my PS4.

Honestly I'm not knocking any device you can play Fallout 4 on . If you read my posts, you'll notice that. I only mentioned the PS4 frame rate advantage because in object saturated environments, like diamond city, the PS4 does show a frame rate advantage. Then again, in open battles with multiple opponents with different weapon types the PS4 shows a slight disadvantage. All compared to Xbox One. You can't even notice the difference though without watching them side by side on Youtube. There has only been one situation where a glitch significant enough to make me even slightly perturbed occurred on my Xbox One. All of my complaints have happened maybe 1-2 times each over the entire game, and never resulted in a freeze up or unplayable situation.

The PC stomps both with a decent card especially considering PC is not framerate capped.

If you want to see your PS4 stumble, or any device except maybe some high end PC's stumble, hit a super mutant suicide bomber with the fatman shell. It will lag more than just slightly noticibly, trust me. The game can't texture and light both massive explosions while taking care of the background battle too and it lags out. I've done it a half dozen times on my own console just to see after watching my buddies PS4 crap the bed in the same situation. Both consoles can't handle it, but some fancy streamlining should be able to fix it I hope

Glad to see that we all agree that the game runs fine on PS4... as well as everything else it's been released on. It could be better though. Given the standard Bethesda has for themselves, it should be better to be perfectly honest and they will get it there on all devices in short order.

I'm a bit out of sorts right now over a major career decision. In a good way. I can't decide what to do with my own life, let alone what to do next on Fallout 4 lol.

 

I had the game completely crash once on the ps4. And a handle of times have had the invisible weapons. definitely some improvements could be made

My only complaint with the game so far is that Bethesda didn't include instructions on how to explain how seriously important this shit is to my wife.

 

Yup. Bethesda is known for very high quality games, especially after the first patch. I expect no less on this game.

TBH if anyone hear actually believes one system or the other is massively better they should open them up. 90% of the console is the same in this generation, and what's not is compensated for extremely well by both companies with some fancy wiring and software. That's part of why I bought both. Neither is better this gen, and I wanted to have the one that would win out. It looks like this generation will be a dead heat as far as games go. PS4 will outsell Xbox because of Japan and the early release issues Xbox created themselves, but there will be more than enough sold to keep the library of games full on both sides.

 

The only glitches I have seen so far was people coming part way through doors when they are running toward the battle. I could just bayonet them through the door.

If you wanted to see frustrating glitches get Skyrim for the 360. Mine froze at loading screens almost every time I played. Still worth putting tons of hours into though.

Bethesda should have a doctors note signed included in the game packaging for when you miss work due to Fallout 4 addiction

 

Do you guys with PS4's have error messages set to auto report to Sony ?

 

Honestly id play the game anyways. Have always loved bethesda titles back to morrowind which was full of glitches. But so fun with the ability to do anything and everything with spell crafting.

Oblivion kinda sucked, but skyrim was amazing again.

So ill play fallout till i get a character maxed out.

 

I go all the way back to Daggerfall and Fallout 1

hence, why I'm on vacation again this week. I 've been saving up time all year for this!

 

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, either way I'd play it. Unlike most of the gaming industry though their product is amazing usually by mid life and I want those results MEOW!
