Hmm same "reinforced frame", same suspension, same bed, same cab. Just sayin.

It's not the same frame or the same cab. Do some research and stop hating because you don't have one.
Also, you're trying to mention the two things that didn't change so you feel better about not owning one, while you're not saying anything about the thirty things that did change. It's a better truck, period.

I could have one, drove 2 of them and decided not for me, and yes it is the same frame, just "reinforced" as Sweers stated and countless other members here have noted. Crawl under a 2nd gen, exact same frame. And yes its the same cab with updated sheet metal/stamping, but the same. It is refreshed and updated but not a total redesign as your allude to in your post. There was no hating, you're the one who got all defensive. And why might I ask? I have given plenty of compliments to the new truck in its certain aspects, but I also will point out the obvious such as the same suspension, frame design and cab. Whatever you need to make yourself feel better about trading in your 13 for a 16 dude, your money, my money, your opinion, my opinion. Chill.

That's not the Base MSRP for that model, but you got a good deal on it with all those options. Base MSRP is around 33700

Got my 16' TRD OR Double Cab 4x4 auto with tow and carpet for $32,880 plus $750 in fees. Invoice is $32,877 (according to the model option cost thread). This was in the DC metro area.

It seems like the DC Metro area is hurting to sell them? Are there any around you driving on the streets? Every person I see buying in DC/M is getting close to Invoice

I've only seen a couple on the streets but every dealer I contacted said they were selling like hot cakes.

I don't believe some of these prices I see.

I got my SR5 for 33k out the door. Either I'm getting robbed or some of these guys robbing the crap out of some dealerships.

    Can't see no TRD 4x4 for 32k.

I think i got robbed or the demand in my area allows for the dealers to "mark up". I told my sales guy that i wanted the OR model, he would text me at like 7 pm a picture of one and by the time i drove to the dealer next day it was already sold! This happened 4 times! So I decided to leave a check for $2,000.00 to reserve the next one that came in, luckily it was a good color and package. After seeing what people paid up north for them I feel robbed! I ended up paying $37,000! I did get gap insurance and extended warranty...... but no home link or sun roof.

Chill? EAD. I could have a lambo or be the president if I wanted. But I choose to be active duty for minimal pay. We all make choices. I'm not criticizing you. I'm not telling you what to do. And I'm not picking apart your vehicle. Don't tell me what to do, or pick apart mine internet hero.
    Fact: it's a better truck.
