I do alot of highway driving, I live in greenville but every single weekend i go out of town, either NC, Charleston, or Clemson. i'm pretty happy with my mileage on the highway. 20mph with the AC cruising at 75mph.... not to bad.

That's pretty damn good considering the EPA numbers say you can't get that! If I were you, I would definitely hold on to that truck! Besides, it looks cool too. :)

EPA says 17 to 21 or 22 when i bought it. I got 21 on my first tank cause it was cool outside and i didnt use the AC. I think what i'm getting on the highway is right on the money with what i'm suppose to be getting.

Yeah, you're right. That is some good gas mileage for a powerful V6! :D

Your profile to the side shows a '08 with the V6 and a DC. Some might not know you got a different truck during this time which might be causing the confusion in the thread.;)

007 didn't have the v6 when that v6 comment and 007's answer were posted. That was a year ago.

Yes, unfortunately, I had to trade in my 2.7L for a 4 door truck.

I will edit the primary post to reflect that so there is no confusion. ;)

^True, though. I had my entire bed filled over the rails, the back seat filled up to the roof, and the front seat and floor filled this Monday for a trip back from NJ. It was all baby related stuff from a shower my wife attended the weekend before. All the stuff in the bed in boxes, of course, but I wish I had taken a picture but the camera was actually in the underseat storage in the back. I was pretty impressed with how much I carried and it took me a half hour to unload it all once I got home.

Kinda makes you wonder how babys survived thousands of years ago without all that stuff.

People probably thought you were having triplets! :)

    Congrats.

Yeah. It was in Cypress, TX off of Fry Road between Hwy 290 and FM 529 (closer to 529). We took a $25,000 hit on the sale of the house because I couldn't afford to own two at once. :frusty:

I'm going to be driving from western Montana to Minneapolis and back in late June/early July in my I4, so will 'play' with it a bit, watch the Scan Gauge, keep track of mileage versus speed, etc., and see how it goes on a long road trip.....roughly 2800 miles round-trip.
