I'm guessing this yellow wire is something to do with the supercharger....
    Anyone know what it is?
I did the anytime fog light mod today here
When I went to start the truck after it started up an idled up then down till it choked out then threw a CEL with 12 codes
I had unplugged the yellow wire so I'm guessing it's something to do with it

I have the set up too.....next to my main fuse box I also have a small one. When I did the anytime fog mod, everything I did was in the smaller fuse box. I honestly don't remember if I had the yellow wire prior to getting my supercharger done.
On a side note, I recently installed a oem TRD boost gauge. My wire work for that project did require me to be in the main fuse box. I stayed well away from the yellow wire just because it's tapped into that 100 amp fuse......I didn't want to mess with it. Look in the owners manual. I know there is a diagram that tells what all the fuses are for.

The yellow wire is for your supercharger coolant pump. I have also messed around that wire a couple of times and if you disconnected it will definitely throw a CEL. As long as you plug the wire back into its place and clear the CEL you are good to go.

Iirc, the 10 amp fuse the yellow wire is connected to is for the auxiliary fuel pump. So if you mess with it, it messes up your AFR and makes the truck run like shit/not run at all... Once you clear the CEL it will run like normal. In the future just do as good as you can to avoid disconnecting/ messing with that fuse... Hope that helps

Make sure that the yellow wire is properly hooked up and that the fuse is plugged into the proper space. Then clear the CEL when the truck is NOT running

Yes, I have a supercharger and I have the same yellow wire going to the same 10 AM fuse. If the dealer doesn't know what that is go to a different dealer haha

YES. It is your coolant pump wiring. Your dealer sounds like an idiot. Oh wait...let me correct myself. Every dealer is an idiot.

I have the wire too....also, when I took my truck in for the s/c install I took out my anytime fog mod. I didn't want them to see it and figured it may cause me problems

Is this the same dealership that installed the SC? I would fix that asap, as now your coolant pump has no power.
