Can't wait to see/hear about it. Got some wild stories from when we used to go down there as well. Wild and awesome place all at the same time.

I found out this morning that I have about 20-30 bug bites on my feet, and I don't know when I got them. Did you get attacked as well?

You should have showered Saturday night! In all seriousness, though, no, I do not have bug bites.

yeah, that probably would have helped.....oh well.

Here's a small clip of the first truck to pass our pit at mile 622. He had such a huge lead on the following truck!

These trucks literally shake the ground! I want one sooooo bad now!!

What a great time! I didn't really take a lot of photos, but I have some.

Dawn in Baja with my pal.
    20151122_062201.jpg

This is when we got back from 20 minutes of prerunning the race course and then discovered a cracked core support, completely cracked (in multiple places) engine hoop and broken plastics...it seems most of the damage was done prior to the trip based on the condition of the breaks, but the plastics were definitely this trip. :cookiemonster: It's good to have an entire pit to diagnose issues. I was done prerunning for the trip haha

How do you coordinate pit stops and who gets what services/fuel? Gigantic papers and organization.

As for stories, I'll tell you more in person, but someone got engaged in our pit stop while the race was happening, we thanked our lucky stars that the truck which ordered ONE HUNDRED AND TEN GALLONS of fuel never showed up so we didn't have to lift it all, and to top it off - my buddy Andy asked me to be his best man at his wedding on the drive home. All in all a good weekend. Viva Baja, amigos. It was great to meet Chris and we all got a team shirt, pit support event shirt, ball cap, sweatshirt and memories.

This photo is at hour 34 or so of no sleep, but we got fish and shrimp tacos and beers for a job well done.

haha I still laugh as you see Dale backing away with the STOP sign. Most likely thinking "OH SHIT OH SHIT OH SHIT OH SHIT".

For all of you - that is how you do NOT enter a pit and definitely NOT how you exit. Enter slow, exit slowly to the road and THEN floor it. Don't dust the crap out of us.

Insane amount of fun! Next time I'll be spending double the amount of time down there!!

That truck scared me! I thought for sure he was going to get hit!

Yeah. Me and Motomon used it on our last day before getting back on the highway. I went from 20 psi to about 36-38 psi in about 2 minutes each. That sound about right @Motomon ? I wasn't really paying too much attention though cause I was sitting in the sun on a beach in Baja drinking a beer :D It works good enough for now!

Miss that adrenaline rush, where you think you are a nascar pit crew for a minute! Andy sure does fly in that TT!

What campground is this? I'm surprised there are any open this late. Beautiful photos! Hit any off road spots while you were out or was it just a camping trip?

I just found out the Greer truck actually finished!!

This dude rolled into the pit with no brakes. Turns out he obliterated 3 of his 4 calipers throughout the race. He ended up welding on a little "caliper
skidplate" for his last one and went on his merry way.
