I have a completely stock 2013 double cab Tacoma and have $1000 to spend on it. I know it's not much but I want to make it look better and this will be a good start to my build

Little to no off-roading so will be a pavement princess but like everyone else I still want the "off-roading look"

Nothing wrong with dolling up a Pavement Princess this won't see an ounce of dirt unless it's in the Driveway.

the biggest impact on any vehicle's appearance is wheels and tires, in my opinion.

My only problem is that any decent wheel/tire combo will be over 1k not including installation

Bigger tires, grille, and Hella 500's behind the grille.

Step sliders will give it off road look and protect your doors. There are some that bolt on to the cab, making it an easy install. And you will have $ for something(s) else. :D

At first I was dead set on new wheels but then I realized how bad it would look with aftermarket wheels and stock Michelin street tires

the mesh grille is a nice appearance upgrade for sure. Also do the black headlight mod! Only costs a can of spray paint and also has a huge impact on appearance.
