Hi. Recently purchased a 2015 Tacoma double cab 4x4. Use as a daily commuter but do a lot of hunting and fishing. I occasionally pull a boat. No serious off road driving but county and forest service roads can get damn right rough here in the Ozarks. Question, I was thinking of putting a rough country leveling kit on and up grading tires. Has anyone had problems with using these rough country leveling kits? Would anybody do different ? I was also thinking 31 or 32 tires.

I'm not familiar with rough country level kits.. I assume they're blocks, which you lose shock travel with. level the front 1.5" to 1.75" to add 265 75 16's. That's a 31.5" tire. go any higher up front the you'll begin getting nose high, unless you want to add a rear block or aal too. You can actually run those tires on the stock suspension too.

Better off just spending the money and Get Total Chaos UCAs and King coil overs. I found the cheap shit rides ruff and won't wast long run. I had bilstein leveling and wasn't impressed. DownSouth Motorsports gives good deals for TacomaWorld Members.
    Now the trucks rides amazing.

Hot damn! I'm guessing he's not looking to spend that kinda money since he doesn't off-road though.

Regardless of any name brand, it's just a piece of metal and they all function the same exact way.

image.jpg image.jpg I pretty much use mine the same way. 2.5 spacer up front and put air bags in the rear for towing which also put the truck back to stock stance just higher. Ride feels just fine to me and I have no complaints.

Nice ride, similar to mine. I was looking at black rims as well. Looking for no more than 2" in height and a level front.

I heard read that there is an issue with the 5100 rear shocks fitting mid-year 2015. Is that still the case?
