2 inch level kit with stock tires and wheels 265 etc.- ride and look good?

I have a 2005 4x4 TRD Toyota Tacoma double cab and I want to level it. I figured a 2 inch leveling kit would work. However, I am going to keep the stock wheels and tires. Does anyone know if it will look good and still keep the factory ride? Has anyone done that to their Tacoma and if so could I see photos please? Thanks

 

don't have pic's but if you use a spacer lift it will be a little stiff, bigger tires would look better but if the money is not their not that big of a deal.

 

You can get some bilstein 5100's and adjust from .85", 1.75", or 2.50"s. Lots of guys on here are running that.

No they're 17x9. I wanted a more narrow wheel, but couldn't find the exact wheel.

 

Here's mine:

2011 Tacoma 4x4 access cab
bilstein 5100's in the front set at 1.75" w/ factory springs

stock tires and rims:
245/75r16 BFG Long Trail A/T
OEM rims

The Bilsteins improved the ride quality for me especially in the corners, but I think the stock tires look a bit small now imo. Ordering 265/70r16 rubber this week.

 

What r u using for the rear AAL or spacers?

 

Here's a stock truck just like mine and mine with the lift and stock 265/70R-16's.

 

Mine's a spacer lift, above the strut so no extra spring compression. It didn't change the ride quality which was a big concern for me.
