I need to save up for a certain CAI I have been eyeing I have already talked myself out of RR's to save up for it and I have already increased the shock budget to get something a little better than initially budgeted for..

 

Picked up one of these bad boys yesterday for $20!!

 

Whatcha going to use that for

 

Shackle flip! The stock shackle mounts are riveted to the frame and this will be like a hot knife cutting through butter should make quick work of the job

Dont be so sure, lol. Those rivets are tough!

 

You are going to have to grind the heads off the rivets and then you can use the air hammer to punch them through the frame. I would be very surprised if that air hammer will shear the rivets off.

 

I will still have an angle grinder with a cut off wheel and a grinding wheel just in case. I will probably be curious to see how the chisel tip works first but will be prepared to use the grinding wheel. Thanks guys

I'm just going to have to stick with the stock ATO greasable shackle for now. I can always upgrade too..
