Hey guys, making an introduction thread as I'm new to the forums! I just bought an 05 Tacoma double cab 4x4 with the TRD offroad package, towing package, 4.0 V6 and a 6 speed manual and I am BEYOND stoked about it. I'm coming from a Subaru WRX which was fun, but this truck is scratching me right where I itch. Looking forward to breaking my truck and hearing all of your wonderful advice!

I too came from a 2013 WRX... Awesome car, but the Tacoma is so much more useful. I miss the acceleration (and the rumble), but I find myself enjoying the truck so much more. Also, coming from the WRX to the 6 speed Tacoma was an easy transition considering they are both pretty clunky (compared to my old Acura Integra). Enjoy!

Haha. Yeah my subie went through two motors in 40k miles of driving and as much as it pained me, its time to say goodbye x( I miss the rumble too! One of my top 5 favorite exhaust noises of all time haha. But like you say, I can have the same amount of fun in a tacoma without worrying whether or not its going to crank up lmao. Hail Toyota!
