I just purchased a Extang Solid Fold 2.0 for mine from autoanything based on all the great things people had to say about autoanything on here. I tried to use a coupon code to lower the price and it said extang is excluded. I then went to the live chat and the representative knocked 98 bucks off for me! I will definitely be buying from them again! Will post pictures when I get it!

I ordered the Access rollup directly from the company today (Agri-Cover) and FedEx has already picked it up for delivery. I wasn't sure if I wanted the Lo Pro or Access rollup but I had TWO local truck parts dealers recommend the Access. I have to agree with them. I used the same Access cover on my 2008 and 2013 Tacomas. That's over 9 years with the same cover.....no leaks, easy to use, held up to any sort of snowfall, and still looking good when I let it go with my trade-in.

If anyone is thinking about the G4 Elite from Fold-a-Cover, I got this email from them this morning:

"We are in the process of designing the new G4 Elite for the 2016 Tacoma. Certain aspects of the bed are the same, but they changed our mounting points which means we are having to redesign our brackets and have new tooling done, etc. That process takes about 6-8 weeks. So, we are expecting to release the cover by the end of the year or sooner, if possible. "

I have to agree with it. I was skeptical at first, because I never wanted it but after seeing it in person I realized it was a good cover. I made sure the bed cleats were far enough back so they wouldn't interfere with the cover and I haven't had any problems with water getting in the bed.

What model of the access did you go with?

    What was the cost?

I emailed truxedo again today and they are saying the lopro will start shipping next week, but the other models won't be available for awhile.

I would hold off and get the TruXedo Lo Pro QT. Anybody figure out how to plug the holes between the bulkhead and side rails at the top?

I have the access limited, pretty much identical cover. For the price, can't beat it. Was eyeing the backflip trifold initially, but when it is folded up it completely blocks the rear windows, which I wasnt a fan of.

I bought mine from Truckalterations.com. They had the cheapest price and I think they are a vendor on here, smooth transaction.

Email a guy over there named Luke at sales@truckalterations.com with any questions.

We get special pricing since we are members of Tacomaworld here is the link: http://www.truckalterations.com/html/tacomaworld.html

Exactly. The tri-fold covers look stupid, operate stupidly, perform stupidly, are stupidly built, too many stupid moving parts, the stupid things leak, dent, and fall apart, the stupid things are always in the way, and.... did I mention just plain stupid?

But who am I to say? They seem to sell well.

I've only owned trucks for 40+ years.

(Sorry, guys, but I just don't grasp the tri-fold concept.)

LMAO! The difference in price between the LiteRider and the upscale Limited is $99. For that you get a AA battery LED bed light, a foam gasket, a small bottle of cleaner, and a retriever bar.

Hmmmm.... fleaBay Light $12, fuck the gasket (I'll shred that), a large $10 bottle of Mother's vinyl treatment cleaner, and I use a $1.25 broom from the dollar store as a retriever bar and also a broom!

I hear ya, they sound great in theory. I just dont see the functionality in real world applications. I mean shit, if I want to carry something that is the length of the bed I need to block my rear view window, PASS. For the price of a trifold I can get 2.5 rollups, that made the choice that much easier. Now if I wasn't a frugal bastard I would have gottten the backflip rollup, that thing is sweet.

Predator bars, Revolver X2 tonneau cover, SwingCase tool box, Husky mats, HID conversion Fuel vapor 17” wheels, 2” front /1” rear lift with Bilstein 5100’s, 285/70R17 Nitto grappler 2’s
Just an FYI, I spoke to Bakflip this morning and they're saying it looks like it'll be January before the Revolver X2 is ready for the 2016's. I also asked if there were any differences in the Long bed between 2015 and 2016 and they said there was a difference, and apparently it's causing them some problems in the design. Not the best of news, I'm ready to buy a cover now and it's going to be a long 2 months...

I just took some peel n stick foam weather stripping and shoved several pieces in the crack and trimed it off with utility knife... worked for mw.

Yeah that would work. I was thinking about cutting a piece of black pipe insulation and jamming it in the holes.

    http://www.walmart.com/ip/THERMACEL-6XE068118-Pipe-Insulation-Semi-Slit-1-1-8-In-6-Ft/40833093

Or while I was at the window tint shop yesterday I saw a piece of that tail gate seal. I think you stick a piece of that in the hole also. It is more flexible than I thought it was.

It's their regular roll-up. The price was $454 with free shipping. I didn't care about the cost. I wanted an Access cover and didn't want any hassles so I went right to the company. They shipped it same day (Monday) via FedEx and it's scheduled to deliver on Friday.

There's all this talk about Lo Pro's. Not for me. You have to mount it into the side rails which hugely limits use of the rails. The Access installs behind the rails so you have full access to the rails. And it isn't as wide as the Lo pro when open, giving more bed width. Etc, etc.

Unless it mounts different on the Tacoma bed rails, looks like you lose about 2" on the sides and front bulkhead. I'm not very smart so I might be missing something in you way of reasoning the Access cover is better than the TruXedo Lo Pro QT.

You will probably be sending it back. TruXedo told me they would have them ready to ship till the 1st week of December. Good luck and I hope I'm wrong.
