$3000 off msrp...so basically at invoice price? hard to believe. Here in Calgary...Country Hills may consider taking 2k off because I'm a repeat customer (bought 3 tacos in 5 years)

Works out to $400 over invoice. Remember there is mark up in the upgrade package as well as the base truck.

So roughly $42,100 all in? (or are you paying your provincial tax in BC as well once transferred to BC?

    LOL.

Did Cochrane send you there trade in hook yet? Do you own a Tacoma?

They promised me $500 more on trade then normal, without stating what normal is, as well as "the best price" on a new vehicle. At least the BS was hand written. I have to give them props for that.

    Cochrane is a joke for dealing...and yes, I have a 12 tacoma...my 5th one. They have a great garage for mods...but that's about it!

Yup. Their parts department is great and the mechanics do tons of mods so they are stellar for knowing what to do to get them to work too.

I, like you, had high hopes for the sales department after my experience on that side... which didn't follow through.

What are you 6MT guys roughly getting for km out of a full tank?

Debating on getting rid of my 2014 Sierra, I love the mpg, but not the smiles per gallon.

Bf=bf Goodrich tires KO2 is the all terrain beefier model tire.
I told my dealer I don't want to even flirt with $50k after tires, rims, and lift….just on principle alone!

I am going to be in for $48,500 for a TRD Sport with the upgrade pkge and a few options added all in with taxes (12%). It is what it is although I may grind a bit after seeing the Mayfield discount. Truck arrives Dec 1.

That sounds a bit better, but still pretty high... mine was under $46K out the door in Ontario...the heaviest taxed people in the so called free world...(I guess some one has to pay to house and feed those refugees)...hehe

No fear there I am hoping they will all end up in Ottawa, down the street from Trudeau Jr's house. Ontario and Quebec elected the young twit so they can pay for the free health and dental care along with the $2,500 they get for living expenses. The good news we are not going to bring in the bread winners in. No siree welfare for life. Ya just gotta believe in our good old Canadian values as set out by the Syrian League of Canada.

Besides Car Cost Canada - you can use http://www.unhaggle.com/ which provides invoice pricing and "negotiation" services for free (you don't pay them directly). While I never used their services, I read on another forum (not Tacoma related) of people using them and being happy with it.

When I bought my truck I used CCC went through the internet sales manager at Gateway Toyota in Edmonton. All negotiations were done through the internet and the deal was signed through the internet. I said I will offer $X for the truck they had on the lot will all fees and taxes in. After a small amount of negotiation (all via email - I made up some BS excuse I'm working all day and don't have time to take calls) I got the deal I wanted. I was VERY clear in my emails of what I wanted and what I was willing to pay- NO dealer extras! I was also respectful in my emails and did not act like a douche (with the expectation the salesman would not act like one - he didn't)

Just went into Edmonton to hand them the certified cheque and pick up the keys. Was relatively painless.
