A trucking company about 3 miles from me has a 2016 in parking lot. Guess it's one of the truck drivers I see it often and dang if I don't look everytime I go by there.

Can't go 30 seconds without seeing a 2nd gen but hadn't seen another 2016 on the road until last week. White SR5 with business logos plastered all over the side. Mail guy in our neighborhood did stop and ask about mine while I was outside with the dogs.

Seriously never realized how many 2nd gens are out there. When I had my 1st gen I guess I just never really noticed. Now I notice and they're all over the freaking place. I've only seen a handful of 3rd gens and 1 is my neighbor down the street. There are 5 Tacomas (all Prerunners) on my street alone.

Sometimes I'll be on the expressway and think every car on this road was someone's pride and joy when they drove it off the lot.

In the area I live in, you can tell the difference between a to beater and pride and joy.

Dude in a 700 to 900 dollar suit driving a scion tc or a honda civic is a beater car

I know we would notice it like crazy. And there are people who do notice it but there are times when he has driven that it's almost like driving a normal car. The granny next to him at the gas pump has no idea its a $1.5 million car..... To alot of people its just another rice rocket.

When I see 16's I intentionally don't look because I know it will drive the owner nuts.
