Saw my first 2016 Limited Tacoma today......Bed/tailgate smashed in:(

Yep you read it correctly. I wished I had a picture of it but I couldnt stop. Besides... I was too angry to think about anything else besides the fact that some people just cant drive. The tailgate, tail light, bumper, and bed were smashed. It belongs to an elderly couple and from the looks of the damage, it was backed into a tree or pole. Sad sad.... There! it's off my chest... I can breathe again. haha.

How does it feel to total a vehicle that one likely hasn't had longer than a month?

 

That makes me feel better. Gets more of that ugly ass blue off the road.

If you may back into something tomorrow, will you give up your license? Or will yours just be a mistake? Or someone else's fault?

Of course some people should give up their license. Age can be a factor in that. High or low. There's a reason insurance premiums are like they are.

i agree. There are some great elderly drivers, and some that absolutely terrify me.

 

Yes! my grandma being one of them....She luckily doesnt drive much anymore because my grandpa drives her everywhere but when she does take a notion to drive....I stay off the roads haha. She drives about 20 under the speed limit which is honestly more of a hazard in a lot of cases. lol.

 

oh no! My gram is over 70 and is still driving. She drives just fine and swears up a storm when she sees bad drivers. Shes rocking a Tacoma as well!
