    I want these too but I usually am very anal about my truck warming up half way at least till take out of outa "park" an it's 20 or colder here in flag the last few weeks so so sucks gettin into the truck an freezing for a few min an waiting

    Looking at a Hi-Lift for christmas. Having a hard time deciding which one. Any suggestions/recommendations/reasons for that particular jack. Was thinking the Xtreme might be the most versatile of the group kinda liked that one, but want to get some suggestions.

    Also some questions about lifts coming up for you guys. Want to make sure my choices and logic are sound before spending all that damn money on it.

    48" cast and steel is what I have mounted and used once on someone else's truck. Extreme is 25$ more and I don't think it's necessary. I just make sure to coat mine with wd40 once a year. I ran that neoprene condom but the AZ sun ate it up in a year.

    Thank's Jon, I wasn't entirely sure if I would need the extreme can't think of what I would need to "pry open that I couldn't just lift up, but did like the idea of being able to use it as a big freaking clamp! Again just not sure what I would need to "clamp". The Cast/Steel vs the Full Cast....is there really any difference?? Frankly I think the Cast/Steel looks better but I'd rather have the one that's going to be better at doing it's job of lifting heavy things and getting me unstuck if I need to be.

    All mine does is make noise and I removed the foot from it to shut it up.

    Picked up some new 5100s for cheap (135 shipped). Easy enough to install in garage, or pay someone else to do it?


    Have never swapped springs or anything on a vehicle, have done a moderate amount of repairs though.
