    Finally got around to heat anodizing.

    Wanted to see if I could anodize over the oils in my fingerprints, thought that would be kind of an interesting look over a clean surface anodization.

    Came out pretty cool I think.

    Propane torch.

    Opened a beer bottle before anodizing and after and notice no loss of rigidity, so no harm seems to have been done. All Bueno.

    The colors are different with different levels of heat.

    I may have these mixed up, but blue appears first and then gradually turns purple, purple gradually turns into gold (from coldest heat being blue to warmest being gold).

    Gold is kind of a wheat color. I just used a Benzomatic handheld propane torch and kept the flame moving around. Took only a few minutes.

    Titanium is easy to do. I think aluminum will heat anodize also but not sure if it requires more heat, but if so, a MAPP gas torch would probably be hot enough.

    Might be fine with a propane torch, or maybe it is best anodized another way.

    This bottle opener is the extent of my anodizing experience.
