    just a few things.
Yes the spacers fit ok. I drove it around the block on the bumpy road. Measurement are from the fender to the bottom of circle (under the Toyota emblem) of the center cap on my STOCK rims. the middle of the center cap didn't look accurate to me. so maybe it's about 1 in off. I did alignment on my stock rims. Didn't want to scratch my Trd rims.

Truck looks awesome man. I really like the lights behind the grill. How do I do that? My suspension will be here next Friday. I'll post some photos too. How does it drive?

Just wanted to confirm that the TRD Pro kit comes with the front shocks and springs assembled? That makes for an easy install and more worth the extra money over the Baja kit. Where did you order the kit from?

I fabricated a bracket that allows me to hang two Hella FF500 behind the grille. Can order a bracket through BAMF also for around $100 but I made mine from aluminum 1.5" angle for about $20. Can get you pics and a sketch if interested. Mine does not have the numerous light mounting options like the BAMF setup, but I had a particular light combination in mind when I made mine.

Yes front shocks/springs come completely assembled. Here is a pic of the parts straight from the box. Best price I found was through Autonation Toyota Gulf Freeway in Houston. Took about 2 wks for delivery. The only thing that was missing was the upper shock bushings for the rear shocks, which I just reused mine.

I wouldn't say one is worth more than the other., just a little different ....honestly not bias because I have a BAJA. A couple different things are the pro has a black rubber cover over the rear shock braided lines, the pro coilovers are tuned a bit softer and the spring seat I believe are different but that has nothing to do with performance.

You won't need any diff drop or carrier bearing drop for the TRD Pro/BAJA lift kit. I can tell you this set up is fantastic!!!!

As mentioned above, definitely not needed. The stock Pro and Baja trucks do not run a diff drop, so why would you need to run one to run Pro/Baja suspension? One of the benefits of going the Pro/Baja route is you don't need to worry about any chain reaction type mods common with larger lifts. Everything from the factory is complete bolt on and just works. No diff drop, no carrier bearing drop, no UCAs, no bad CV angles, no alignment issues, ect.

You can still run into alignment issues with the Pro/Baja kit. They lift the front end 2" just the same as any other lift that provides 2" would. There's nothing magical about them in that respect. If you're willing to have lower than ideal caster, any 2"-2.5" lift will give you "no alignment issues."

I have a 2" lift and my caster is not where it should be with stock control arms. I had three alignment shops including Toyota try to get me more caster, but it's just not there. It is within Toyota factory spec, but that isn't ideal for a lift.

As far as diff drops and carrier bearing drops go, diff drops are a no-no on the second gen, and you only need to mess with the carrier bearing if you raise the ass end, which the Pro/Baja kit does not.

Should check if Toyota have a different alignment numbers for Pro vs stock 4x4 taco

I would love to have ADS King or one of the other but since I'm not from SoCal area where it's the norm. I'll probably go with a Pro kit so the local dealer can install them.

The Baja/Pro lifts 1.75", not 2". People just round it to 'about 2' when talking about it.

Yes, there is nothing special about about the lift height, if you lifted 1.75" (not 2"+) you could have the same alignment results that TRD engineers signed off on.

My point was Toyota is not going to mass produce and warranty something that it cannot properly align to drive well. My Baja setup has excellent high speed centering stability and steering return to center, which would suffer with poor caster numbers. The truck actually drives too well at speed that you forget your driving a pickup and not a sports car.
