Any body else built stores at their settlements ?

Bar, weapons, armor, trader. Forgot i added one

 

I will be soonish. I just got local leader and set up trade routes to ...13 or 14 settlements. Building my UFO fortress above Sanctuary shortly....just ran the Railroad quest and got Deliverer, and with Gun Nut 2 it's already modded to the gills....

 

Deliverer is my go to... 3-4 shots from sneak deadly

 

Do all your settlers hang around the Bar when it gets dark too

 

I havent noticed yet. Most of mine seem to go to sleep

 

All of my settlers that aren't assigned or are assigned to food show up and hang around the bar as soon as it gets dark lol

 

I ended up building a table there and a bunch of chairs and they all just sit there and chill till bed time

 

I had tons of mini nukes in Fallout 3 too. I think in total right now on Fallout 4 I have found 10... maybe 11.

 

I was also disappointed there's no trophy for beating top time at the range in vault 75. Even though it's easy

 

Nah it was all about the YCS 186 in NV

 

If you can make it to the NNW end of the map there is a group of random bounty raiders and one carries the YCS 186. Sometimes they are nice and in there undies and all you have to do is punch the one guy in armor and he will pull out the YCS and then just kill him and take it before you get blasted. I think you need 5 strengh to use it properly. Don't forget to get the jury rigging so you can repair guns easier with lesser junk guns.

 

Even in God Mode you still are limited to how much you can add to a settlement. But you have unlimited crafting supplies.

 

I think the lowest I've made it up there is around Lvl 5 or 6. Not too bad a trek so long as you avoid going the quarry junction route.

 

SO....here we go! This is pic heavy and long, FYI.

Inspired by the time I've spent reading in here, I made a new home for myself this afternoon. Above Sanctuary. More importantly, FLOATING above my fortress in Sanctuary.



When I fast travel to Sanctuary, I pop in on the top floor. A full floor of empty beneath.

All the amenities....bed, foot locker storage, a place to park my armors...


Gots to have a place to keep my fun guns that I don't always carry with me out in the field...of course, Dogmeat has to photobomb



Crafting stations of course, so I never have to go far...separate generator power supply to keep my lights on


Dropping down through that hole there leads to the roof of my old fortress, so it's a safe place to snipe from...I'll put some half-railings up around the edges I think, because reasons



I also have a lower empty level complete with like a dozen machine gun turrets. Fuck bloatflies and raiders, man


All in all, good end result. I have a strong defense against interlopers AND all my stuff is up out of reach where only I can get to it. If need be, I'm above the fray and can fast travel in and take on any occupiers with impunity. And, worst case scenario, I'm directly between the two ins and outs of Sanctuary, so if I needed to bail out in a spare set of Power Armor, I could.

 

So i made my floating platform only to later find an npc up there somehow...ha. nothing super fancy but the edge is line with my power suits to jump in and drop if need be.

Also made a platform ledge to stick out above one of the existing buildings so i can drop down onto it and reach ground level without dying.

Yea im not sure how they get in there? I had the old lady up there and then she sat on my couch. Later she was gone though. Doesnt seem to be a true fix. Although i still think its cool having a fortess up there.
