Thanks buddy I appreciate it. Today's progress report: Legs cut and welded on and 8 of 10 filler plates cut and welded in. Frame brackets, gussets, and end caps left to cut out and weld in

Hahaha sounds good. Thanks I really appreciate it. Just gotta keep practicing man. I don't consider myself a good welder by any means but I feel confident that my projects will be strong and I try to make them look as best as I can

Hahaha yeah the grinder comes in handy to help make things look nicer. Just gotta make sure you're getting good penetration in the metal. Haha when I welded in the recovery points on my rear bumper, I welded the hell out of them haha. I welded them to not only the main 4x4 tube of the bumper but to the plates that bolt on to my frame to hold the bumper up. Ain't going nowhere haha. Yeah man, my buddy taught me how and I've just been practicing a lot and trying to get better all the time!

I used my plasma cutter to cut the filler plates. They're 1/8" thick. I have a Hobart 210 MVP. Nothing too special but it works great for me!!

Yeah it wasn't cheap but wasn't as much as a Miller of the same size. My buddy has a Lincoln 150 or 180 that he got from Home Depot that works great! I did a whole set of sliders with them and that welder was SOLID!

Added a bunch of stuff. Cut to fit 285 AT3’s
The Miller may be more, and everyone has their color preferences but I gotta say I absolutely love my Millermatic 211.
The Hobart you have runs both 120 and 220 right? That's the biggest thing I would look for if I was searching again. It's so nice for tacking stuff up anywhere with a 25A plug. Then hook it up to a 220 plug in the garage to burn it all together.

The millermatic 211 is such a great machine! Yes my Hobart runs 110 and 220. The MVP stands for multivoltage plug. My thoughts were the same, it's nice knowing I can run it on either, making the machine more versatile.
