I don't have the tools to do the job and experience with installing suspension is very limited, next to none. Would love to find a shop to do it, but they all want to rape you on prices to do it.

The UCAs suck big donkey balls ... Idk why Toyota designed them to never come out lol but they did.... So you have to bash and bend a little metal to make room lol. But once they're out, its a pretty easy job.

You and the other guy should just have a mod day together so we can all work together and everyone can learn a little bit and help with the installs.

since this is the BS thread, i'm going to vent about something that i doubt many of y'all know about, so it'll seem pretty vague...

i was supposed to be getting a new job with a 'new' company. meetings were had, things started to fall into place...the only thing left open was pay. more discussions, i was given some projects to look into, and/or start. this has been an ongoing project since about January.

pay was finally discussed 2 months ago. i said "probably going to need more" (the offer was on the low side of what had been discussed). was told 'ok, i'll talk to the managers.' the offer was about 25% lower than the going rate. silence. typically pay would be offset by some side-work, but for 1/3 of the time of the contract, i'd be a) away from home, and b) unable to do any side work at all. the side-work is typically done at a sister company. about a year and a half ago, i applied with sister company was told, while chuckling, "you're one of the highest paid in the country." which isn't the case, but for what i did, i was paid pretty well. needless to say, sister company couldn't afford me.

all this going through 100% was still dependent upon the 'new' company getting their funding.

check a news website today and see that the 'new' company is a go and everything is set. not sure if i'm involved still or what. i was supposed to have been a part of the process. so i'm kind of left with a lot of questions, no answers, and having wasted a fair bit of energy researching stuffs and things.

I grew up in El Paso if you get out by red sands theres places to wheel, you have to go further out where its more rocky. Really miss wheeling on the sand dunes had a lot of fun.

I'm in Rockwall. And I'd be interested in getting some help with a lift install as well. Not sure on timeframe yet. Might be after the holidays (gotta take care of the kids Christmas before mine).
