Damn, that's one hell of an upgrade. Sounds awesome. I'd be down to lend a hand too if you need some extra help. If those 5100's are still in good shape I'll take a look at them.

when all the stuff comes in sometime mid DEC ill check them out in detail and if they look good to me, Ill let ya see whatcha think. Ive had the 5100's in the rear for 2 iterations now and for the money/set up I had, I really like them. Im still using my front 5100's from my original purchase over about 50k miles ago. Still working great, even after some abuse (I have taken them apart and made sure they still had pressure and reinstalled them )

Alright guys next ride we should definitely hit up the power line. I got off work early today and decided to scout it out. Ended up riding 2 miles and didn't make it more than halfway down the trail. There are some really serious technical sections but the places that are too rough have routes around them. No deep water or mud to really mess with but a lot of good climbing and flexing. Pictures don't do this trail justice.

I like it! Pictures never do the trails justice.

Unfortunately I cant go until the new suspension....I dont think. (Its probably not a good idea since im worried one of the packs is likely to snap) but seeing these makes me wonder if the risk is worth it haha

Yeah, there's some areas that would definitely put stress on the suspension. Not sure what part of Columbus you're in but you could always ride with if you wanted. Either way, it'll be the perfect trail to test those new leaf packs on when you get them.

Would anyone be interested in hitting up the Ft. Benning power line trail around lunchtime Saturday (tomorrow)? I'll already be in Ft. Mitchell due to work, so I was thinking about shooting over from my office to there around 12ish. @thecoz will likely make it. Jeremy, I'm not sure how confident you'll be with your leafs but I tackled most everything just fine on my stock suspension. @southernpanic you'd be more than welcome to join us.

man, unfortunately I cant make it either this time. Got plans in the afternoon PLUS my leafs are squeaking every bump in the road, I feel like theyre holdin on for dear life! With my wife starting a job here soon also, I cant risk the truck going down since we'll both have to drive. But the good news is the leafs come in NLT 10DEC and shouldnt be more than 5 days to get them here after that. My schedule significantly lightens up from 11DEC-18DEC so Im going to put the new susp in immediately (hopefully).

Be sure to take pics, I do wonna head out there as soon as the truck is set!

(I got your text when I got home and decided to reply on here since it was easier to type haha)
