We have been trying to find a 7568 for many months. After contacting over 50 dealers, we had many offering us DCLB sports and DCSB off roads. The DCLB Sport us pretty common, but I think it's going to be a while before DCLB off road will be sitting on any lot.

I've had many dealers say that the colors are hard part for most models. The reds and blues are harder to order and get. White, silver, mgm, and black are easiest to get. Most dealers have no intention of ordering a quicksand, lol

Dolan Toyota is a good dealership to work with. I bought my last car and Tacoma from them in October, and they made it a very pleasant experience. Whatever you do stay away from Carson City Toyota, nothing but a bunch of crooks.

Good point. The Off Road DC Long Bed is a rare build around here. Not many to be found, that's for sure. I originally wanted a long bed, but decided making it fit in my garage was more important. :)

Good to hear. Thus far they have been super cool to work with. I've gotten like 7-8 calls from them today, each time with an update or something I could do to make the process go faster when I arrive. They gave me a trade value through email and worked with me on a couple of freebies, including a better than expected discount. I told them today that if this all works out, they will get all 11's on their survey. haha.

This is where you tie one of the locker ECU wires to ground on 1st gen TRD. At that point the locker can be activated in any gear and any transfer case position. I know it exists for the 2nd gen - just gotta check for the 3rd Gen. My buddy has a 2014 Tacoma 4x4 Access Cab Off Road (not modded) and I had a 2000 Tacoma 4x4 Xtra Cab Off Road 5spd (locker mod). We went to play after a heavy rain in mud and gravel. Let's just say the second I stepped out of my running truck after an hour of screwing around to laugh at our shenanigans, he stole my truck and spun a couple of doughnuts. He was WAYYY jealous of all of the sideways fun I was having and man, it was a blast. Miss that truck.

    I don't think he bought a 7568, the picture shows a 7544. Nice truck!

oh that makes sense. Even though it's a short bed, the color is more rare than most

According to the initial report leaked in July from the Los Angeles Region TVO meeting, only 1% of total production was going to be DC OR long beds or 15 units per region per month. 12 regions X 15 = 180 per month nationally or 2160 for the year. At 1445 Toyota dealerships in the US; that's only 1.5 per dealer for the year. You are correct, it will be a Loooong while!

Those numbers were only for the Greater LA Region. Other regions will get different numbers of each model and package. That 1% was just for our region, not the total number of 7568 from Toyota.

My wife randomly randomly called a dealer 100 miles from us and found that they had a 7568 we wanted. It will be built on the 12th of this month!
