Hey guys I'm looking to get a 3" lift on my truck what would be a nice set up to get it to that height and won't hurt my pocket, but good quality at the same time. Thanks...

only company really listing it to fit the 2016 is the BOSS kit from toytec. all 2nd gen products are working fine though.

    @ \000/ - Super helpful thread!

I just took delivery of my DCSBOR in Quicksand (no tech) last night. Already ordered the black TRD rims on sale (http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/trd-pro-17-x7-matte-black-alloy-wheel-ptr20-35110-bk.html) and some BFG KO2's in 285/70/17 (http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/bfgoodrich-all-terrain-t-a-ko2-radial-tire-285-70r17-99728.html) but was stuck on what lift to do. Was wanting to do an OME lift but wasn't 100% sure it would fit based on comments around not fitting on the 2015's. This helped solidify it for sure. Looks amazing. Only thing I may do different is the full Dakar CS047R rear leaf. Anyone have any experience with these or should I just do the AAL with the stock OR leafs? What would be the advantage either way? I don't want either one to affect my payload capacity or towability of my boat. Want it to sit as level as possible while towing.

i had dakars in my 14 tacoma. was a pretty stiff ride. was also running the bilstein 5100 with toytec coils and had nitto trailgrapplers so that might of contributed to the stiff ride also. this time around ill probably go with AAL or the all pro leaf pack.

Jerry how would you compare the ride on this tacoma compared to the Icon stage 5 you have. Just street ride, not offroad, because I know Icons kits are far superior for offroad.

The 5100 kit rides very similar to stock whereas the icon kit is a bit more firm providing a more stable feel which I actually prefer.

Awesome thanks for the quick response, I prefer the stock feel so I'm getting it with total chaos arms for alignment purposes. Happy thanksgiving bud.
