Just curious why do most you guys price match with 4wp to dtd? Why not just get them through 4wp's?

Wait until Discount Tire Direct eBay store does another one of their $100 of $400 purchase. Then place 2 orders for 2 tires, getting $200 off a set of 4.

I paid $712 shipped to the house for my 285/75r16s last month.

I did 4wheel parts to store and had them install. It was fine but will probably do discount tire going forward since they're more prevalent.

I'm sure they'll do it again... Seems like they do it every couple of months.

I see a lot of people doing the stock size or the 265/75/16 slightly larger size on stock suspension. Do they offer more of a taller/narrow style tire that would fit on a OME/Dakar 3" lift that wont rub too much. I can deal with full lock and full compression rubbing a little, but if its rubbing on the road, that wont work.

lots of pics posted in the thread but people forget to add what suspension/tire size which doesnt help in comparing.

    Hey,

    Just had some KO2s installed...

Hit around 80mph on the hwy today and realized that there was an unusual vibration.

    Passenger seat was vibrating vigorously

is that normal or should i look into it.

    See Build Page...
Check if your wheels are hubcentric or lugcentric... if they are lugcentric make sure you have the correct hubcentric spacers. If that does not fix the problem then get the tires road force balanced.

You should've looked for tires a couple weeks ago. I got my 285 75 16s off of 4wp's for 180$ a tire plus $70 off immediately, no mail and rebate bull shit. It came out to 715$ shipped.

Bilstein 5100s (f @ 1.75); 5100s rear; All Pro Expedition Springs; PowerStop slotted discs; Akebono ceramic pads; Wheeler's braided brake lines; Prodigy trailer-brake system; heavy duty towing set-up (for off-road trailer); WeatherTech mats (awesome); 5% Ceramic Tint; matching Snug Top (mid) with racks; Thule racks; dipped badges; 17" 2014 OEM 5-spoke 4-runner rims; 265/70/17 Bridgestone Desert Duelers (for now); Siriusxm radio; more on the want list...
Put a fresh pair on my rig today. Discount Tire, as usual. I was on the fence between sticking with 265's or moving up. In the end, I went with 285/70/17's---which was the right call for my desired stance. 3" lift (5100 @ 0/OME 887 + Toytec 3/4" plate)(AllPro Expo spring-pack), no rubbing and no spacers---so far.
