I have the same one. Had it for two years and still haven't tested it. Reviews seem pretty good though.

I traded straight up with another Tacomaworld person. We were only an hour apart, both of our trucks are 2015, only a few months old, same color, both hoods in perfect shape. Literally a Win-Win. Woot.

There is a thread floating around just for this topic. But what are the odds -- same color, good color match (no fading), both hoods in similar (or perfect) condition, a scooper (that was me) has to not want the scoop, and a non-scooper has to have scoop envy, the parties can't live too far apart etc. etc. We just happened to nail it on all points. And he was a really nice guy, we had fun.

I really like my 2015 TRD Sport I bought in August. I really like the color matched fenders, side-view mirrors etc. But I was just "meh" on the scoop, and was "neutralizing" the truck. I plasti-dipped the chrome badges, I removed the TRD Sport sticker. To me going to non-scoop was the last "neutralizing/streamlining" step. I now literally think I have the perfect looking Tacoma.

Here is a my 2015 de-badged, de-chromed, de-scooped TRD Sport. I think it looks great. I realize opinions will vary.

Looks good to me! I can't take the scoops myself ether, I guess I just can't stand fake but it's each to his on. And I dipped my emblems, and found a complete set of emblems for $30 and bleached the chrome off and painted them black, just haven't swap-ted them out yet.

I actually really like my flat hood. I'd only want want a scoop if I got a super charger, or if it was at all functional. All the scoop does is get dust and mud in your engine. :crapstorm:
Good job finding someone to switch!

Scored a good deal on a TRD Pro grill. I will be installing it tomorrow.
