Why do you feel the need to proclaim your job as if your making some huge sacrifice, by the way look at my avatar, yep thats right bud, active duty as well so quit with the minimal pay pity crap as you and I both know thats not the case in today's military (you owned a 13 and now 16 limited $40k truck you dont make minimum pay, especially living in a country where each resident is in the top 3% of the wealthiest people in the world, maybe rephrase your statement/broaden your view of the world) and that stupid internet hero comment. I wasnt even talking about jobs, you specifically said I was mad cause "I dont have one" and I simply responded that was a childish argument as I own a 2015 that wasnt that much less than yours and could buy a 16 if I wanted, I wasnt picking apart your vehicle at all, that is in your head/you being defensive for no reason. I was simply stating its not a "totally new truck" as you proclaimed.

As most of us know what invoice pricing is, as there is a separate thread dedicated to it, why don't we simplify things and post the price you paid in relevance to this. I paid $500 above invoice, and 8% tax.

Got a double cab 4x4 SR5 Texas edition. Traded in a 2013 TRD 4x4 double cab with 21k miles.
    Sticker 36400
Worked a deal down to 30418$ and 28k for my trade in. Total drive out with ext warranty, ext oil change, gap insurance was $33200 and also had them throw in lifetime washes and a set of new tires for my wife's Sienna.

Sticker. There was no discount with Oxmoor. They were nice enough but honest that they had no reason to discount the truck and I really didn't expect them to lower the price. The deal I got in Wisconsin was a pleasant surprise.

For those of you who got the college grad rebate, did you have to finance the truck? Was there a minimum they made you finance? I thought it was just a straight rebate until I read the details and saw that it's for finance only

    MSRP: $39,368
    Paid: $37,368

They ordered me a set of All Weather Liners ($150) + Touchup Paint ($15) as part of the deal, so total discount of around $2,165 from MSRP.

Don't yet have the fees, but that doesn't mean a lot here. Buying in Nevada and I'll have to register in CA myself. So that will most likely cost me another $500.

I agree with an earlier post, some of these prices seem, shall we say, a fantasy! ...$3 over invoice on one that I seen and the previous two post are at or below invoice. I'm not saying their lying but, they must have some relationship with the dealership that goes beyond the normal buyer seller.

I bought a TRD OR DC LB with P&T, tow and all weather mats:

    MSRP

    Base 7568 $34340
    Prem & Tech $2330
    Tow $650
    All weather $179
    Delivery $900
    $38,399.00

    Dealer invoice
    Invoice $31,814
    Prem & Tech $2074
    Tow $579
    All weather $119
    Delivery $900
    $35486.00

    Absolute dealer invoice
    Invoice $31,814
    Holdback $-686.80
    Prem & Tech $2074
    Tow $579
    All weather $119
    Delivery $900
    $34799.20

    I Paid
    Dealer Invoice $35486
    Over invoice $500
    Bogus add fee $658
    $36644

    Other costs
    Tax 7.5% $2748.3
    Doc fee $250
    Tags $33
    Total $39425.3

If you paid $35,486, you paid "dealer invoice" too. So why are you claiming other people lied about their deals?

College grad rebate can only be had if you finance with Toyota.

Nothing down if your credit is Tier 1.

This means almost nothing to us without a region, state, or county.

I'm paying about 1000 less than this with more tax and no premium tech. But I'm in socal, you aren't

I've been keeping my eye on truecar. Prices have been coming down over the last few weeks. The national numbers and graph for my truck(ORDCSB AT w/ HH and TO) is starting to move left towards lower prices. The deal I got was good, and still is, and was in the lowest 5% when I ordered. Now it's in the 15% range. So people are getting some good deals on these trucks.

I joined this site back in September. (was lurking on here since the beginning of 2015) I thanked everyone on here for all the info that was shared, If it weren't for this site I would have paid MSRP for my truck. The first dealer I ordered from gave me MSRP price. I knew people on here were getting better deals, so I did not except this and emailed my next closest dealer. I told them exactly what I wanted and for them to give me their BEST PRICE because I'm shopping around. They did 36,900.00(88.00 below invoice) and said to come down and speak with them. I got down there expecting that they quoted me on a different truck. I was surprised, he had looked up the truck that I had ordered already from the other dealer. Long story "shorter" he said to me, I'm here to sell cars, why try and haggle with someone who knows what he wants and knows everything about the truck. It was that easy, I'm still shocked in a way. In conclusion, I feel that I got the right guy. If anyone is in the western mass area and want this guys info PM me. Thank you!

    Fantasy price buyer!

That is an outstanding deal!!! You are one of only 10 nationally (according to TRUECar) to buy that truck, with those options, in that price range, and you had an EXTang tri-fold Tonneau cover thrown in for good measure; that's another $350- $750. Meaning, you actually bought the truck for $438-$838 under invoice. That is awesome!!!
$36,900 is a price I would expect to see on that tuck in June or July 2016.
