$19,800 58K for my area it seems on par for going prices. In really good shape considering age and mileage...has a couple spots that will be buffed and sanded out...

sounds pretty good to me. I found a 2007 4x4 trd sport with 17k on it in socal for $21k but already bought my 2010...oh well. To be honest if you "downgrade" (value and size only)
you may be really pleasantly surprised by the capability of this little truck. I got rid of my 3/4 ton silverado and i love my little truck. Its awesome offroad, more capable then the Tundra IMO, and handles parking lots and tight spaces better. Not to mention better fuel economy.

Yeah i have the 5.7 in the tundra so a couple MPGs would be nice...and parking lots will be easier that's for sure...Unfortunately my Tundra is loaded with everything from bluetooth to moon and all the bells and whistles...So i will miss that and the passenger Capacity (that i rarely used)

Maybe check the motor mounts welds? They were an issue on some of the 05s, there is a thread on here somewhere.....esp. if exposed to salt my 06 welds are rusty...if there is any question you can get your friend to fix it before the trade probably? I would have them look at least.
