@VolcomTacoma did you get any other parts falling off other then that plastic wheel well liner? I noticed the trailer wiring bracket on my trail limo was bent pretty bad after last weekend I'm going to have to relocate the wiring to the bumper I've bent that bracket so many times

 

I relocated that before I ever went offroad lol. Learned about that one the hard way on my prerunner. I got some light pinstripping, but yea, must have smacked the front bottom part of the bumper and bottomed out. Long story short peoples, had some trouble on one of the trails due to clearance, had to skinny pedal through it all, and hit a dip on the right side a little fast, felt the suspension on that side bottom out and something scraped. Next thing I know, @DannyBFresco is walking up the trail with my front right inner fender liner . They were coming out anyways, but what a way to do it lol!

 

those should polish out. I know a guy.

 

I may have to hit that guy up soon. My trail rash is getting pretty gnarly

 

I'm pinstriped to holy hell. Could prob buff most of em out but I prefer to leave em so I don't flip out over new ones.

 

Sliders worked already. Coworker parked next to me. Small dent on his door missing paint, small chips of paint on sliders. Busted, fuckhead. You deserve it. There are 6 fucking spots in front of the control room, I park in front of the door...NOBODY ELSE IS PARKING HERE, you can literally park sideways if you want...probably...but nooooo you have to park 2 feet from my truck.

 

And on that note, I came out of Safeway to find a shattered tail light and paint on my rear bumper and tire swingout. Some dumbass in a new F150 tried to back into the space for a compact car next to mine. After he failed he drove one row over and parked. The security guard pointed him out. I had to laugh, it left a quarter size scuff on my HC bumper, but beat up his Side panel, light, pinched a little part of the tailgate.

I left a note under the wiper that said I reported a hit and run and that it was on video.

I did not really report it in reality, but hopefully he sweat a bit because of it. What a douche.

Thats awesome! I'm looking into a high clearance tube/hybrid bumper I think. Haven't quite decided yet exactly what I want, but I'm sure I can find something nice to spend money on

 

Your shackle hangars are gunna hang quite a bit lower than a "high clearance" bumper @VolcomTacoma

I wasnt talking about one of those single tube things that just runs along the fiberglass. Probably something like an all pro aluminum or something like that of tubes

 

Yea like tube top and bottom with dimpled fill panels... Hitch behind the liscense plate.. Would look good..... Shit I'm probably gunna redo my front bumper completely cause I got ideas/engine cage shit

 

Yep, exactly what I was thinking. I go back and forth on an engine cage. I think I'm gonna hold off for now and see how a good crossbar will do for me. I think once I move the battery to the bed, the rad support will survive alot longer.

 

Yea that's what I'm gunna run till I have problems, or get in another head on wreck( knock on wood)
Cab cage will be before that probably, really want to do the crawl box thing too

 

Next mod would be regearing and then thinking about swapping in an FJ transfer case
