Aewsome! I hope you get it set up soon. How exactly do hand controls work? Do you squeeze a lever for brakes like you would on a 4wheeler/dirt bike? What controls the throttle?

I have a set of these I use on the vehicles where I don't have mounted controls or if where mounted controls take a lot of cutting and removing panels. Plus, I have kids and technically you have to have endorsement for hand controls, so there the whole thing about even whether they can drive with mounted controls even though they can use the pedals. It comes in handy for test drives, utv's, or if for some reason I need a rental car(easier than trying to get a rental with hand controls)

kinda curious why you don't just drive with left foot? I'd be thrilled to have at least one working leg

I've had hand controls on an Audi S6 V-10, and a supercharged S5(it was a rousch mustang kit fitted for an S5 putting out about 500hp. I've seen them on lots of cars. A place in Pennsylvania makes an air shifter kit for the Shelby mustang 500GT. they make a lot of hand controls and air shifters in Europe for manual trans on about anything. there is an old lady that lives in the Dallas area that drives an Audi R8 v-10 that is in a wheelchair, uses hand controls, and it is her daily driver.

well i get her back my 2016 tacoma im real happy put and i still got the set i took out of my 2013 the guys who put these in I love there work always clean and and i prefer their controls over the old ones out of my 13 on my old taco i went to this other place that truly sold me a dream i gave the guy my truck with 50 or 60 miles i forget it a real long story..... access unlimeted is the company name he had my car twice the first time to put hand controls in for me which i know its a 4 hour job at max and milking it but this dude took my 2013 and put 800 miles on it when i got it back he said he had to test drive and on top of that he parks it with the hood open under a tree that drops all that green stuff my bran new engine was covered in pollen i felt like this dude violated my truck so that was the reason i really traded my 13 in for a 16 but im happy if any one want to know the rest of that jack off did to my truck ask ill finish the story and tomarrow in the morning ill get some pics and post em up

Man, they hacked the crap out of that panel. Looks like they didn't have the right clamp for the column and hacked away and made their own. Surely the crap under the dash isn't much different than a 2015?

I see myself needing this hand control in the future, my legs are slowly getting worse (MS). Can I ask how much$ they cost "all in" ? Do you find they are easy to use and do you get tired after long trips using them? I imagine the cruise control still works?

I guess the handle is a pivot with a center pole as the fulcrum and a pole on the gas, and a pole on the brake. You have to let up on one to activate the other? The suicide knob on the wheel is for steering.

Push down for accelerator, push forward for brake. You can still power brake it to clean off your tires when drag racing. Everything works normal and the pedals are clear if other people drive.

There is no clutch. The bracket for the Tacoma has one rod going through the opening under the column and the brake rod under the dash. The hanger strap with all the holes isn't right. I've installed 8 sets of these controls and they all have special brackets that are vehicle specific. They aren't "universal". All but one vehicle they were installed with minimal, if any, trimming. The one I just removed the panel completely rather than cutting it up. Nobody would even notice it was missing. The owner could put the panel back on and nobody would know it ever had hand controls
