Haha! That's me. People totally mistake yours for mine as well. Can't tell ya how many of those "Hey, just saw you in town" talks I've had while the truck was parked.

Hadn't had a chance to see yours up close until then; excellent work, sir! Good looking truck and looks functional as hell. Ever since I blew out one of my canopy's windows I've been itching to do some kind of side rack system similar to yours.

It's funny, I've been seeing some good looking Tacos lately and I thought I'd see if any of them were on here. Long time TW lurker, first time poster. Hope to see more of you all around!

Sorry, that was the one aftermarket mod the previous owner did. Actually tried looking them up a few years ago and couldn't find anything online that looked the same. They appear to just be a plastic cover epoxied to the back of the factory black mirror housing, with the led's piggybacked into the blinker circuit. Wish I had more info for ya.

Here's a closer pic for ya. Maybe you'll have better luck finding them.

Welcome to TW. You have a nice truck as well.

Like I said before, I see you in the most random places. We passed each other near the Arletta store about a month ago and I turned around to see if I could catch you but you were gone.

I always try to maximize all mod functionality as well as making them easy to remove if needed. The windows were a PITA and I don't think I would do fiberglass again (unless I had the right tools). Eventually I will be building an enclosed bedrack with the same rotopax enclosure all made out of metal.

I have some good friends, plus one of my job sites in Horsehead Bay, so I'm over there quite a bit.

Had I more time, I was wanting to make an aluminum hatch window with some external mounting points that tie in (via some joints) to the roof rack so I could mount my jack, kayak holder, etc. That's still the plan (as the bolted on polycarbonate is ugly AND non-functional. Ugly is fine as long as it works.), just need to iron out the design and get some time off.

The enclosed bedrack sounds like an intriguing idea. Look forward to seeing what you drum up.

He is a friend of mine, he just got back from a trip to Moab a few weeks ago. It definitely gets used. We have been wheeling together with his brothers for years.

Haha this is mine. I do need a rear bumper northwesttaco. In Moab a was scraping my receiver A LOT. The truck does get used, whether hauling dirtbikes firewood or just go up in the woods/snow. I've seen quite a few Tacoma's and 4runners of same various years lately in the area. Some lookers for sure.

It has chaos uca's OME struts with the 886 coils and their "expo" leaf packs in the rear. I don't have rear shocks since I swapped an fj80 full-float rear axle with factory locker in the truck. The calipers are on the front of the axle so factory shock mounts won't work. It's a bit bouncy but the springs help. Especially with a load. It's on the "to do" list though. I broke the r&p up in the snow on the original axle because like an idiot we were coming down from Tonga ridge and towards the bottom you drive down a long hill and I set the e-brake. The drums froze and when I went to move the truck didn't move. Gave it a little gas and nothing happened so I gave it more and just twisted 5 teeth off the pinion an 4 off the ring gear. Had to have it towed by a friend home. Now I can just pull the axle shafts and drive shaft to limp home next time.

Shitty picture, but I saw this truck again in fall city. 2wd single cab. Has flared fronts and bedsides. Mostly stock besides some coil overs in the front. Looks like a LT in the making. @Usethe2nd is this the one you've seen?
