Correct, as long as you aren't in super deep snow. There comes a time when you bottom out before you find the bottom, and then you're just a $35k sled.

Pulled the radio to hook up the axxess to get my steering wheel controls back only to find the Toyota specific harness won't work on it due to it having the JBL system. Also found out whoever wired the aftermarket head unit did a horrible rats nest job of it. Took it to the local audio shop to see what they would charge to clean it up (wiring and electronics aren't my thing) and hook up a steering control module and the told me $175 for all of it. Came home and pulled the passenger side door panel to see why the window came off track and the little one inch piece that holds the window broke. Called the dealership only to find out that they can't just order the plastic piece. Have to get a whole new window. $189 plus $90 labor to install it. Now to figure out what to do about the window and how to break the news to my wife. Anybody else had this problem or have a fix for it that doesn't require a new window? This hasn't been my day. At all.

This is what I've read, along with some pretty compelling arguments for general off-roading as well. Air-down as needed. That, along with better mpg, lower rolling resistance, easier turning - makes me stay with 255's. Unless you actively look for deep mud or sand, then go fat.

Please, let me stop reading the forum tonight!!!!! I keep buying things I didn't intend to buy. lol
Actually, I already have the valve without the nipple (although I had always wished I had bought the one with the nipple) but the discount definitely pushed me over the edge. Thanks.

I wish there was a "like the shit out of this" tab, "like" isnt really good enough. This is badass, for some reason I have an over whelming urge to watch Top Gun.

tiogafallsnov27 002.jpg tiogafallsnov27 001.jpg Drove it and parked it.....Then we started hiking. This is Tioga Falls, just inside the perimeter of Ft Knox. It's open to the public on occasion. They'll be letting deer hunters in starting tomorrow, so the wife and I took advantage of the gate being open. We hiked a little over 3-1/2 miles round trip to see the falls. This is not far from "Brandenburg Gate", and maybe 2 miles from the gold depository. Back when we were kids, this was a popular party spot for teen agers in the area. With current world events, not much goes un-noticed @ Knox. We also hiked up to Ft Duffield, just down the road from Knox. It was a Civil War gunnery installation high above the Ohio River, and the site of a Union war cemetery. Unfortunately, I left the camera in the truck when we got to Duffield.

We thought our hike was a tough one until we made it to the falls.....just to find a family there, with several barefoot kids.....No comment on having kids dressed for summer and playing in water when it's 52 degrees and late November.....
