    Also guess I have to cut down the threads too cuz the shortened extension just bottomed out and it didn't gain me anything... Currently brainstorming on how to cut it without ruining the threads...

    Anytime we've cut threads off at work we do it on a band saw. leaves a pretty nice cut overall. Then either use a file to fix the first thread. Or if its a small diameter we use a thread restorer (like a die). but with a good blade on the band saw the first thread doesnt take much work with a file to fix.

    Monday... monday... we find out if I can get a loan or not. If not the taco is getting gears/front locker/ 35" MT/Rs so its a win win either way.

    TO-DOS:
    • Replace driver & passenger front wheel bearings (received)
    • Remove passenger CV and install new boots (recieved)
    • Install new OE F*CKING M alignment cams on passenger side (just need rear)
    • Shorten Tie Rod End Extensions by 1/2"
    • Call Total Chaos on Monday to see about fixing driver side LCA
    • Install Pelfrey Blue Seas mounting plate (ordered)
    • Clean up rats nest and wire up Blue Seas (recieved)
    • Wire up and mount ARB Compressor (recieved) :yay:
    • Fix rattling cat
    • Replace gas cap that keeps throwing CEL
    • Get a real alignment and tack the cams
    • Wash/clay bar/seal/wax truck for winter prep
    CV is regreased and reinstalled with a new boot! Also got the front cam in. Just need to pick up some locktite and I can put the rest of the driver side back together :woot:
