    April or May. Somewhere around there. Its only a 14 hour drive from here to Daytona, you could make it. Going to be rather uneventful just dropping in some skid plates and 5100s maybe wiring in a light bar.

    1997 t4r has super duty axles, 5.13s locked front and rear. 3 link front with 14" kings. Rear 63s.

    Nice, Frank. How was your first real mountain wheeling experience?

    As for me, it seems the OGT is getting moved on to the back burner for another week or two even though I have all the parts to get her roadworthy again. It appears I might have a paying job to do first. On the plus side, if all goes as planned, this could give me the resources to possibly put the Gulches trip within my reach. :cool:

    Citrus is kind of a given and the OGT will definitely be ready by then. On the downside, if I didn't want to go on this Gulches trip so bad, I could probably use the cash I'm making on this job for OGT mods (HC rear bumper at least). Too bad it's gotta be one or the other.

    Not really an option with my crappy departure angle...that and I need recovery points. :p

    Haha he actually has somewhat of a rear bumper if you remember seeing it, just recovery points and a hitch receiver I believe :D

    Yeah, but one benefit you 2nd Gen guys have over 1st Gens is y'all have a lot better departure angle. If you notice, 1st Gen beds stick out a lot further past the rear wheels than 2nd Gen beds do. That's why so many folks bob their 1st Gen beds. So I might as well take the bed off completely and run a flat bed of some kind if I was going to delete the rear bumper entirely. :p
