I wish the cops would not get mad at me if I went to pass in the median I've felt like it so many times on these highways but I miss overseas driving. Rolling a convoy down oncoming traffic to get out of grid lock, its hard to get use to slow domestic driving again lol.

I did drive it like a granny, lol. Especially if i was towing a car or two. In the 2nd pic you can see i scraped off those damn DOT #'s. The truck was registered & insured in my personal name, not my business name so when i would get stopped for a DOT inspection i would show that it was a personal vehicle, not a business. Surprisingly it worked and they would let me go.

No, i had to have 2 separate policies on it. One required a million dollar ins policy, "On hook policy" they called it. The truck itself just had liability ins on it. I paid cash for the truck so i didn't need full coverage on the truck. I can't remember what i paid a month for insurance but it wasn't cheap.

I got a lot of killer deals with that rollback. I used to run ads in local papers and CL for cash paid for unwanted vehicles. We are such a "throw away" society. People would junk vehicles because stupid shit would break on them. I mean a lot of them needed to be junked but some i fixed and sold. These pics are just a very small handful of vehicles that i was called to buy for scrap and later sold on CL. The MH was a killer deal but it didn't run. 53k miles on it. After a bunch of fuel related repairs i found the reason it wouldn't run was a detoirating short piece of rubber fuel line that came out of the top of the tank. It would suck shut when you would try to accelerate. I fixed it and camped with it for 3 years, never had a issue with it. I got that old tractor running the same day i bought it from a guy that wanted me to haul it away for scrap value. It was crazy the deals i would get! I need to buy another rollback.

I was told it was a 1949 Ferguson. A old timer from Williamsport, Pa. drove down and bought it to restore with his grandson.

Btw gentlemen, help me. I'm looking for a mid to late 80's or early 90's Toyota pickup, or a first gen. Would want four wheel drive, extended cab and V6 preferred. Anyone come across one, hit me up! Next year I want to build something stupid! Crawl box, solid axles, 37" tires, tube bed, skids, sliders, front bumper, tube doors. Guy near me is rolling around in the beast. I don't know the spec's, but I do know he has a smaller diesel motor in it with a 5 speed auto trans.
