Hey ben, checked out a brz today while cruising the lots. Pretty comfy car actually, I could see how it would be fun. 28k though...tough

 

Yea, i was kinda shocked. I figured price would be lower with the low sales of them lately.

 

Yea it was fully loaded, had all that and such. Silver in color with some fancy wheels but I think for that price I would be going a different route. Sat down with my old man and crunched number on paying off the 4runner and then getting a used car or selling it and buying a new(slightly used not brand new) rig.

 

hahaha best review ever. Although I have to admit I would probably take an focus RS..and I hate the ford focus more than any car ever.

 

Rs will be near 40k though.

 

O i wont get one lol I mean who knows until it arrives but your right in the cars you listed. An s4. Having my audi really spoiled me, besides the maintenance costs and expensive aftermarket parts, that car was just awesome. I drove an s4 once with the 4.2 v8 and i didn't want to ever leave. a rs4, or rs6 would be so high on my list of wants over many cars.

 

I saw one while in seattle and damn did it sound awesome, but something about a mercedes...i dunno. An audi I feel is higher class, but a mercedes is to much for me I think lol

Mercs are stupid I think. Not super reliable either. Audi is nice though. Id take that over a merc.

 

I never liked how the amgs sounded either. Idk why. Just never sounded cool to me.

 

Nah, i just can't put my finger on it. Never liked them tonally. Probably fun as hell to drive but man the sound is just...weird.

 

People sure got upset when they got rid of the big bore v8. New smaller displacement one has a turbo in the v right?

 

No idea. I haven't been following car world much for the last 3 years honestly..

Idk. Just not cool cars to me. If you want just a brute of a car with lots of power i think there are lots of better options.

Mike are you cropping your imagines a lot lately?

 

If an image calls for it I do. The wide angle at 10 mm always has extra sky or extra foreground or sometimes both. Why?

 

Idk. Something about your images lately is vastly different from years past. Aren't as sharp or crisp. Something..

 

I have noticed this too. But it isn't consistent. Sometime, within a given image, there are portions of the image are softer focus than others. Not sure what it means tho.

Tell me why you think cropping is a factor.

 

Idk sometimes stuff is grainy too so i wasn't sure if the ISO was high or if you had like cropped it a lot.

Kinda odd that its not consistent. Perhaps the camera is at the end of its life??
