Saw my first one the other day in Minneapolis. We drove right by each other. I suspect each of us were thinking we had the better truck.

Test drove one, but it was ugly red, still cant get over the front end and price, the rest was nice. Had a guy on the way to work yesterday in a 2016 Blazin Blue TRD Sport LB speed up to catch me and then pass me, as we both got to the turn in for the gate (military base) he waved to me? I waved back but laughed at his initial "hey hey hey look at me and my newer truck than yours", once I pulled up next to him and he saw my lift and components I think he realized he should check himself a bit, of course this is all in my head, lol. It did look a bit better in that config than the red sb I drove.

Dont get me started..... i grew up in the mountains where you cant see neighbors... but, no jobs for my generation there. Hence; i had to move south.. but i commute far so i can still live rural.

Finally saw one today at a local dealer, and finally got to drive one too!!

The truck that I drove was a TRD Sport, DCSB, silver.

First impression: WAY better looking than the 2nd gen. Not even a contest. The grill looks awesome in person.

I initially went to the dealer to see if I could snag a deal on a 2nd gen, but after seeing the 3rd gen I have no interest in the 2nd gen.

Interior: Very, very nice. The center display blows away the center display in my '15 4Runner, but still isn't quite as nice as the display in my 9 year old Audi.

The truck I drove didn't have all the crawl control garbage, so it had a sunglasses compartment in place of all that, which is nice. This one unfortunately didn't have a sunroof.

No power seats, and it doesn't need them, so I don't care.

How did it drive: It was nice and quiet inside while driving. The engine is more than powerful enough. It seemed to have the turning radius of a moon when I went to park it back at the dealer though.

It had the factory tonneau cover. It's a really nice option, but it didn't seal for shit.

Nice to see they finally put a fucking cargo light in the thing.

I see potential for three to four different products for KB Voodoo Fab, so I'll probably end up trading my Audi in for one......unless a clean S5 comes up for sale in the very near future.

There's a dealer about an hour north of me (where I got my 4Runner and a few other Tacoma's) that has a huge selection. It's just a matter of deciding whether I want a Taco or an S5.
