Yeah I agree with that. They're more of the old school style. Any recommendations for 17s that'll fit my truck?

That's a tough one man! I always head towards wheels people don't have. I had PC 7069s on my DB build and I have Sequoia wheels on my new build.
I spend a good amount of time in the dirt and I just won't buy super expensive wheels anymore due to rock damage.

I feel the same way. I'm looking for something that not many people have and that are also cheap. I don't offroad much now, but I'm trying to get into it more, so 18" rims aren't really going to cut it.

First off, are you sure that the 6" kit is exactly what you want? If you've read through this thread at all, you've probably noticed that it takes a lot of work (and money) to get a DB Lift to be capable offroad, and even then, it still won't be as suited offroad as a mid range mid-travel setup. That being said, DB lifts look great, and if you don't plan on offroading, are a good way to get height and larger tires (especially for the price offered). Could you give some more info on what he's including in the kit?

I've read every page on here and I don't wheel at all. I just bought a 2011 dbcb and my intentions from the jump were to lift it 6 inches. I'll post a link in a sec

No not that... Remember...The DB spindle flips the tie rod end to the top of the spindle vs the bottom like OE. Because the tie rod end flips up to the top it comes dangerously close to the back lip of the rim.

Seems kind of odd that he wouldn't take pictures of the actually DB and other components themselves. Based on his description, it sounds like everything is there.

Yea I'm going to see if he already removed it from his truck for pics. My only real issue is if I can get the local offroad shop or 4wheel parts to install it but I have met some guys on here that have installed them before so I could get some help without all the $ being spent on install

There's welding involved but as long as you can get that done, the rest of the install is do-able.

Does the crossmember put on have to be welded? If so that means he had to cut his off? Or is it bolted on after the stock one is cut off?

You have to cut out part or maybe all off the front crossmember then weld in the new crossmember. Here's fabtech's instructions: http://www.fabtechmotorsports.com/files/FT26026i.pdf

So the F5's are your only wheels (not 18" or 20") that have 4.5 bs or more?

I was actually set on a zone 6 inch lift which apparently is a sister company to bds but it's $600 cheaper for a stage 1 plus I can upgrade to fox coil overs down the road but I saw that deal on Craigslist and have been pondering my decision
